श्री वाजपेयी नँ फूल, बेलपत्र आरू चंदन जैसनो पारंपरिक पूजन सामग्रियो केरो उपयोग करतें वू प्रस्तर औजार सब क श्रद्धांजलि देलकै, जेकरा हुनी अंग देश स्थित संताल परगना केरो जंगलो, पहाड़ो आरू नद्दी करगी सँ खोजी क जौरो करलै छै। ई औजारो सिनी मँ विभिन्न प्रकार के खुरचनी, फलक (ब्लेड), टंगली (छोटो टांगा), छूरा, हथौड़ी, भाला आरू तीर के अग्रभाग आरनि शामिल छै।

सभ्यता के विकास केरो आधार

पंडित वाजपेयी के अनुसार, ई लाखों बरस पुरानो औजार सिनी नै खाली पुरातात्त्विक महत्व केरो छेकै, भलुक एकरा मँ अंग भूमि केरो पूर्वजो के संघर्ष आरू उत्कर्ष के गाथा सब भी छिपलो छै। हुनी बतैलकै कि ई औजार सब बताबै छै कि अपना सब के पूर्वज केतना उद्यमी छेलै, हुनी सिनी कोन तरह के अनुसंधान करलकै आरू आपनो जीवनयापन लेली केना ई उपकरणो सब के निर्माण करलकै। इ सब  अपना लेली महत्त्वपूर्ण, रोचक आरू शोध केरो विषय छेकै।

दुमका (झारखंड), 2 अक्टूबर 2025। विजयादशमी के पावन अवसर पर अस्त्र-शस्त्रों की पूजा की प्राचीन परंपरा देश भर में निभाई जाती है, लेकिन झारखंड के अंग क्षेत्र के दुमका में इस बार एक अनूठी पूजा का आयोजन किया गया। लेखक एवं पुरातात्त्विक खोजकर्ता पंडित अनूप कुमार वाजपेयी ने धातु के पारंपरिक हथियारों के बजाय, लाखों वर्ष पुराने पत्थरों के औजारों की विधिवत पूजा की।

श्री वाजपेयी ने फूल, बेलपत्र और चंदन जैसी पारंपरिक पूजन सामग्रियों का उपयोग करते हुए उन प्रस्तर औजारों को श्रद्धांजलि दी, जिन्हें उन्होंने संताल परगना के जंगलों, पहाड़ों और नदी किनारों से खोजकर इकट्ठा किया है। इन औजारों में विभिन्न प्रकार की खुरचनी, फलक (ब्लेड), टंगली (छोटा टांगा), छूरा, हथौड़ी, भाला और तीर के अग्रभाग आदि शामिल हैं।

सभ्यता के विकास का आधार

पंडित वाजपेयी के अनुसार, ये लाखों वर्ष पुराने औजार न केवल पुरातात्त्विक महत्व रखते हैं, बल्कि इनमें हमारे पूर्वजों के संघर्ष और उत्कर्ष की गाथाएँ छिपी हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि ये औजार बताते हैं कि हमारे पूर्वज कितने उद्यमी थे, उन्होंने किस तरह अनुसंधान किए और अपने जीवनयापन के लिए कैसे इन उपकरणों का निर्माण किया। ये सब हमारे लिये महत्त्वपूर्ण, रोचक एवं शोध का विषय है।


उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि हम आज जो व्यवस्थित जीवन जी रहे हैं, उसमें इन प्रस्तर औजारों का आधारभूत महत्त्व है। धातु युग तो बहुत बाद में आया। हमारी सभ्यता और विकास की यात्रा इन्हीं 'ढेले-पत्थरों' से शुरू होकर वर्तमान तक पहुँची है।

Ancient Stone Tools Worshipped on Vijayadashami in Jharkhand's Ang Region by Archaeologist Pandit Anup Kumar Bajpai 

Dumka, Jharkhand, October 2, 2025. While the sacred observance of Vijaya Dashami traditionally finds expression in the pan-Indian custom of consecrating arms and weaponry, a singularly unique rite unfolded this year in Dumka, nestled within the Anga region of Jharkhand. Eschewing the customary veneration of metallic arms, scholar and archaeological savant, Pandit Anup Kumar Bajpai, presided over the solemn worship of stone implements—tools dating back millions of years.

With reverence befitting a timeless tradition, Sri Bajpai offered tribute to these lithic artifacts, employing the quintessential ceremonial offerings of flowers, belpatra (wood apple leaves), and sandalwood. These prehistoric tools—meticulously unearthed and gathered by him from the forests, hills, and riverbanks of the Ang Region's Santhal Pargana—represent a crucial chapter in human history. The collection includes a diverse array of ancient forms: various scrapers, blades, diminutive hand-axes (tangli), knives, hammers, and the finely crafted points of spears and arrows.

The Foundation of Human Progress

According to Pandit Bajpai, these artifacts, millions of years in age, transcend mere archaeological import; they are, in truth, chronicles veiled—sagas of the toil and triumph of our earliest ancestors. He posits that these tools serve as a profound testament to the enterprise and spirit of inquiry that defined our forebears, revealing how diligently they conducted their explorations and fashioned these instruments for the very sustenance of their lives. All this holds a significance for us that is at once vital, intriguing, and a fertile subject for erudite investigation.

He emphatically asserted that the bedrock of our present, ordered existence rests upon the fundamental utility of these primeval stone implements. The age of metals, by contrast, arrived as a mere epilogue in this grand narrative. The entire odyssey of our civilisation and its subsequent flourishing began with these rudimentary 'clods and stones' and has progressed unbroken to the current day.

Speaking in conversation with Angika.com, Shri Bajpai declared that it was with these very artifacts that Stone Age humanity inscribed its own 'saga of victory'. It is for this reason that, on the sacred occasion of Vijaya Dashami—a festival commemorating the triumph of virtue over vice and the ultimate reward for persistent struggle—these ancient implements are owed a unique reverence and veneration.

This initiative by Pandit Anoop Kumar Bajpai stands as an inspiring tribute, a compelling call to remember and honour the foundational contributions of the people of antiquity.
