Mr. Amit Chaudhari, a Kolkata born academic and musician, is the first Indian to be included in the judging panel of the prestigious Man Booker International Prize. Chaired by writer Jane Smiley, the International panel consists of Leningrad born writer, script writer and essayist Andrey Kurkov.
