The culture of Anga is one of the oldest and richest cultures in the world. In modern era, there is remarkable cultural diversity throughout the country. The Anga has his own distinct cultures like South, North, West, Northeast and almost every state of India that has carved out its own cultural niche. In spite of the diversity, it's bound by a common thread as one civilization perhaps because of its matured history and transfer of age old knowledge in the geographies.
One of the most interesting aspects of Anga or Angika art and culture prior to colonization was the strong impact of religious and folk idioms and folk art . Although folk art received little encouragement during the period of colonization, independence brought forth a renewed interest in folk paintings.
Preserving the cultural heritage of Anga, inculcating Anga Art consciousness among Anga inhabitants and promoting high standards in creative and performing art like Manjusha art should become one's objective in order to preserve this ancient Anga culture as a part of great Indian cultural heritage.
