15 killed, 30 injured as bus falls in gorge near Ranchi

In Jharkhand, fifteen people were today killed and 30 injured when the bus in which they were travelling skid off the road and fell into a gorge in Latehar district in Ranchi. The Inspector General of Police S N Pradhan said the casualty figure might rise.

All the injured were taken to the Daltonganj hospital. SP Hemant Toppo said they werestill enquiring whether the driver lost his control or the bus hit any other vehicle, causing the accident.
